It was a rimy winter morning The effulgent star tore apart the climate of arctic But an awkward silence in the city was lingering Having houses with doors shut and citizens nostalgic. Cozy insides with coals in fireplace burning People relished over hot soup with noodles and garlic Kids awaited for gifts for Christmas was nearing Cookies and cakes baked, left the streets aromatic. Late afternoons were rather perky and exhilarating Piles of snow outdoors made youngsters frantic Elders visited neighbors' sipping coffee and chattering Frosty leaves, glassy lakes, winter birds, oh 'twas scenic.
